There are 2 boat rental shops just 1 mile from the house, toward Chelan.

Wine Tasting
Within a 10 mile radius there are more than a dozen wineries. Two of our favorite wineries that also have wine tasting are:
Tsillan Cellars
They have a bistro and great views of the lake, only minutes from the house.

Award winning vineyard located on the other side of downtown Chelan.

Dinner
There are several great places to have dinner depending on what you are looking for. Here are a few higher end ones we like.
Campbell’s Lake Resort. Located in downtown Chelan, Campbell’s an open air pub on the second floor and a high end restaurant on the main floor. 104 W Woodin Ave, Chelan, WA - (509) 682-4250
Wapato Point Cellars. About 15 minute drive around the lake, this is a winery and restaurant with a great patio eating area. If you like red wine, be sure to try a glass of the Cabernet or the Red Delicious. 200 N Quetilquasoon Rd, Manson, WA - (509) 687-4000

winter wonderland
Most people think about Lake Chelan as a summer destination. It turns out that there are plenty of reasons to plan a winter trip to the lake. Our first winter trip we took the entire family over Christmas and New Year's.
We spent several days skiing and intertubing at the local Echo Valley ski hill.
